The Christopher Walden Foundation of Hope and True North Recovery have partnered to open the Christopher Walden House of Hope, a residential treatment facility in Fairbanks, Alaska, which began operations in February 2024.

This facility adds 16 much-needed beds for in-patient crisis services for drug and alcohol treatment, addressing a critical need in the community. True North Recovery, which operates multiple locations in Wasilla and Fairbanks, is dedicated to providing client-centered, culturally competent behavioral health treatment with same-day access to services and maintaining long term recovery. They utilize evidence-based best practices and community partnerships to offer comprehensive support for alcohol and drug addiction, fostering a safe environment for peer-centered education and engagement.
